FORSITH SURVEY, <br />ABSTRACT NUMBER 173, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING A PORTION OF <br />PALOMINO DRIVE / HAYS COUNTY ROAD NUMBER 226, SAID ROAD HAVING BEEN <br />DEDICATED TO HAYS COUNTY IN VOLUME 266 PAGE 463 OF THE HAYS COUNTY <br />DEED RECORDS AND ACCEPTED BY HAYS COUNTY IN VOLUME 267 PAGE 155 OF THE <br />HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY <br />METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS: <br />BEGINNING 1/2" iron rod found with a plastic cap stamped "Byrn Survey" for the north corner of this <br />tract, the west corner of a panhandle portion of that described as 248.711 acres in a deed from the San <br />Marcos River Foundation, Inc to the City of San Marcos dated August 13, 2018 and recorded in Hays <br />County Instrument Number 18028923 in the Hays County Official Public Records, the south corner of <br />that described as 4.6453 acres in a deed from Kimberley K. Eastwood to Matthew Troy Wallace dated <br />February 15, 2008 and recorded in Volume 3332 Page 875 of the Hays County Official Public Records <br />and being in the northeast line of the aforerefenced Palomino Drive; <br />THENCE leaving the PLACE OF BEGINNING as shown on that plat numbered 28144-22-2-b dated <br />December 20, 2022, as prepared for the City of San Marcos by Byrn & Associates, Inc. of San Marcos, <br />Texas with the common northeast and east lines of Palomino Drive and the southwest end of the <br />panhandle portion of the City of San Marcos 248.71 acre tract the following two courses: <br />1. S 570 07' 49" E 46.73 feet to 1/2" iron rod found with a plastic cap stamped "Byrn Survey" for <br />an angle point and <br />2. S 050 17' 15" W 27.52 feet to 1/2" iron rod set with a plastic cap stamped "Byrn Survey" for the <br />south corner of the panhandle portion of the City of San Marcos 248.71 acre tract and being an <br />angle point in the west line of that described as 3.048 acres in a deed from Paul S. Williams et ux <br />to Brian L. Allen et ux dated March 30, 2001 and recorded in Volume 1815 Page 589 of the Hays <br />County Official Public Records; <br />THENCE continuing with the east line of Palomino Drive being the west line of the Allen 3.048 acre tract S <br />050 17' 15" W 11.48 feet to a 1/2" iron rod set with a plastic cap stamped "Byrn Survey" for the southeast <br />corner of this tract; <br />THENCE crossing Palomino Drive N 840 42' 45" W 58.79 feet to a to 1/2" iron rod found for the <br />southwest corner of this tract and being an angle point in the southwest line of Palomino Drive and being <br />the northeast corner of that tract described as 3.048 acres in a deed from Hollis Dale Marshall et to Andrew <br />Gary et ux dated October 2, 1972 and recorded in Volume 253 Page 782 of the Hays County Deed Records; <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
