ARTICLE 4.=CITY MARSHAL'S DEPARTMENT <br /> Sec. 62.500. -Creation. <br /> (a) The City mMarshal's department is created. The direster manager of the City.PaMarshal's department <br /> is designated as the City Marshal and is appointed by the Csity Mreanager. The City Marshal aa4 <br /> reports to an Assistant City Manager. . The department shall <br /> have two four divisions., the Poatrol division, the#Fire mMarshal division, the eParking eEnforcement <br /> division, and-apA the^^de enf^r^oment the mMunicipal ZCourt Ballif/warrant division. <br /> (b) The City mMarshal's department is not subject to Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code <br /> Icivil service requirements or standards.1 All employees of the department are unclassified employees <br /> appointed under and subject to all of the applicable provisions of the city's personnel policies. ef-the <br /> (c) The City Marshal shall ensure that all training and certifications of the members of each division are <br /> maintained as required by law. <br /> (Ord.No. 2005-68, § 2, 9-20-05) <br /> Sec. 62.501.-Patrol division.
