RESOLUTION NO. 2023-86R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE <br /> OF BULLET RESISTANT SHIELDS FROM LIONHEART ALLIANCE, <br /> LLC, THROUGH GSA CONTRACT #GSA 47QSWA20D001M, IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $115,329.20, AS AUTHORIZED AND FUNDED BY A <br /> STATE-FUNDED GRANT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HER DESIGNEE TO <br /> EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. A contract with Lionheart Alliance, LLC. (Contract No. GSA <br /> 47QSWA20DOO1M) for twenty-eight (28) bullet resistant shields and corresponding <br /> identification placards for use primarily by the San Marcos Police Department (SMPD), SMPD <br /> School Resource Officers, and the San Marcos City Marshal's Office in the amount of <br /> $1.15,329.20 funded by a state-funded grant from the Office of the Governor is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute the agreement on <br /> behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
