RESOLUTION NO. 2023-115R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING A CHANGE IN SERVICE TO THE <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LOCKWOOD, <br />ANDREWS & NEWMAN, INC. (CONTRACT NO. 218-307) RELATED TO <br />THE PURGATORY CREEK IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1 PROJECT IN <br />THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $825,756.35 FOR SUPPLEMENTAL <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR <br />HER DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS TO <br />IMPLEMENT THE CHANGE IN SERVICE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. A Change in Service to the agreement with Lockwood, Andrews & Newman, <br />Inc. (Contract No. 218-307) for supplemental engineering services for the Purgatory Creek <br />Improvements Phase 1 Project in the estimated amount of $825,756.35, including project <br />management, preparing a FEMA map revision letter, performing field surveys, acquiring <br />easements/rights of way, and conducting environmental permitting, is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />documents to implement the Change in Service. <br />PART 3.
