ORDINANCE NO. 2023-64 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE RATES FOR THE WATER, <br /> WHOLESALE WATER, RECLAIMED WATER, AND WASTEWATER <br /> TREATMENT UTILITY SERVICES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION <br /> 86 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES; INCLUDING <br /> PROCEDURAL. PROVISIONS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. In accordance with Section 86 of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances, the <br /> monthly rates charged for the water, wholesale water, reclaimed water, and wastewater treatment <br /> utility services are amended in accordance with Exhibit A,which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> for all purposes. <br /> SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict <br /> with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held <br /> to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this <br /> ordinance will continue in full force if they can be given effect without the invalid provision. <br /> SECTION 4.
