RESOLUTION NO.2023-196R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS,TEXAS ALLOCATING TO NON-PROFIT AGENCIES HUMAN <br /> SERVICES GRANT FUNDING OF $550,000.00 FROM THE CITY'S <br /> GENERAL FUND AND $100,000.00 FROM AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN <br /> ACT FUNDS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER <br /> DESIGNEE, TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE <br /> CITY IN MATTERS RELATED TO SAID GRANT FUNDS, INCLUDING <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO EXECUTE FUNDING CONTRACTS WITH <br /> SELECTED AGENCIES ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The City approves Human Services Grant funding of$550,000.00 from the <br /> City's General Fund and $100,000.00 from American Rescue Plan Act funds and allocates such <br /> funds to the agencies listed and for the amounts and the purposes described in Exhibit A, attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to act as the official <br /> representative of the City in matters related to the allocation of said funds and may enter into <br /> funding contracts with the non-profit agencies listed in Exhibit A, consistent with the purposes of <br /> this resolution. <br /> PART 3.
