RESOLUTION NO. 2024-30R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED OWNER REQUESTED ANNEXATION IN CASE NO. AN-24-01 OF APPROXIMATELY 176.5 ACRES OF LAND, COMMONLY KNOWN AS QUAIL CREEK, GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 21 AND THE RAILROAD AND SOUTH OF THE BLANCO RIVER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER,OR HER DESIGNEE,TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF SAID TRACT OF LAND; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART I. The attached Agreement for the Provision of Services in connection with the proposed annexation in case number AN-24-01 of approximately 176.5 acres of land, commonly known as Quail Creels, generally located north of the intersection of State Highway 21 and the railroad and south of the Blanco River, is hereby approved. PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. PART 3. The date for the public hearing concerning the proposed annexation of the land described in said agreement shall be March 19, 2024. PART 4.
