STATISTICAL SECTION <br />(Unaudited) <br />This part of City of San Marcos, Texas' comprehensive annual financial report presents multiple years <br />of data to provide a historical perspective for understanding the information available in the financial <br />statements, note disclosures, and required supplementary information and for assessing the City's <br />overall financial health. <br />Contents <br />Page <br />Financial Trends 70 <br />These schedules contain trend information to help the reader <br />understand how the City's financial performance and well -being <br />have changed over time. <br />Revenue Capacity 76 <br />These schedules contain trend information to help the reader assess <br />the City's most significant local revenue resources. Although <br />Electric charges are the City's most significant local revenue <br />source, information about revenue payers is confidential under <br />Texas statutes. Trend information about electric charges is <br />provided in Table 2. Additionally, information about property tax <br />revenue is provided. <br />Debt Capacity 84 <br />These schedules contain trend information to help the reader assess <br />the affordability of the City's current levels of outstanding debt <br />and the City's ability to issue additional debt in the future. <br />Economic and Demographic Indicators 90 <br />These schedules contain economic and demographic information <br />to help the reader understand the environment within which the <br />City's financial activities take place. <br />Operating Information 92 <br />These schedules contain service and infrastructure data to help the <br />reader understand how the information in the City's financial report <br />relates to the services and activities performed by the City. <br />Sources: Unless otherwise noted, the information in these schedules is <br />derived from the comprehensive annual financial reports for <br />the relevant year. <br />
