RESOLUTION NO. 2024-75R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH SAN <br /> MARCOS YOUTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION <br /> (SMYBSA) ALLOWING FOR AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) <br /> FUNDS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PARTICIPATION IN <br /> YOUTH SPORT LEAGUES BY UNDERSERVED YOUTH AND FAMILIES <br /> NEGATIVELY AFFECTED BY COVID-19; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE ANY NECESSARY <br /> DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. A funding agreement with San Marcos Youth Baseball and Softball Association <br /> (SMYBSA) with American Rescue Plan Act funds for providing youth scholarships for <br /> participation by underserved youth affected by the pandemic is approved, in the amount of <br /> $45,000.00. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute any necessary <br /> documents on behalf of the city. <br /> PART 3.
