RESOLUTION NO. 2024-108R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED OWNER REQUESTED ANNEXATION IN CASE NO. AN-24-05 OF APPROXIMATELY 3.43 ACRES OF CITY-OWNED LAND AREA, KNOWN AS RATTLER SUBSTATION; GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF CLOVIS BARKER ROAD AND LEAH AVENUE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF SAID TRACT OF LAND; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The attached Agreement for the Provision of Services in connection with the proposed annexation in case number AN-24-05 of approximately 3.43 acres of City-owned land area, known as Rattler Substation, in the Cyrus Wickson Survey, Abstract No. 474, Hays County, Texas, being a portion of that 89.53 acre tract described as a deed recorded in Document Number 17015848 of the Hays County Official Public Records; generally located Southeast of the intersection of Clovis Barker Road and Leah Avenue is hereby approved. PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. PART 3. The date for the public hearing concerning the proposed annexation of the land described in said agreement shall be August 5, 2024. PART 4.
