3 RESOLUTION 1991- 91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY FROM VACANT TO COMMERCIAL FOR LOTS 1-8 OF THE AMENDED PLAT OF THE FACTORY SHOPS SUBDIVISION, LOCATED AT 3939 IH-35 SOUTH AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on June 4, 1991, the Joint Planning and Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Vacant to Commercial for Lots 1-8 of the amended plat of the Factory Shops Subdivision, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located at 3939 IH-35 South; and, WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commissions did, on June 4,1991, consider the request and voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City; and, WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the9THday of AUGUST , 1991, regarding the request¡ and, WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met; and, WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the following described tract of real property located at 3939 IH-35 South, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the city of San Marcos as Vacant shall be shown on that map as Commercial: LOTS 1-8 OF THE AMENDED PLAT OF THE FACTORÝ SHOPS SUBDIVISION RECORDED IN VOLUME 5, PAGES 201-202 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS. PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
