RESOLUTION NO. 2024-16OR <br />SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS CHANGING THE COMPOSITION OF THE FINANCE <br />AND AUDIT COMMITTEE AND CLARIFYING THAT THE ROLE OF <br />THE COMMITTEE INCLUDES AUDIT PROCESSES; AND DECLARING <br />,,4,V EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The previously established Finance and Audit Committee's composition is <br />revised as follows: The Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tem, Deputy Mayor Pro-Tem, or another member of <br />the Council, appointed by the Council, if there is no Deputy Mayor Pro-Tem, the City Manager, <br />all Assistant City Managers, and the Finance Director shall be voting members of the Finance and <br />Audit Committee. The City Attorney shall be an ex-officio member of the Committee. <br />PART 2. The Finance and Audit Committee shall provide oversight in matters pertaining <br />to the finances of the City of San Marcos, Texas including but not limited to all audit processes <br />that involve the City's financial operations, budget development process, design and <br />implementation of utility rates, and review of financial policies. <br />PART 3. The Finance and Audit Committee will review and approve or disapprove a <br />board or commissions' requested amendment to the Council approved Standard Bylaws. <br />PART 4.
