Fee Increases. <br /> (a) The fees provided herein shall be automatically increased by three <br /> percent annually, beginning on October 1, 2025. <br /> (b) The fees provided herein shall be reviewed periodically, but no less <br /> than every three years, whether together with, or separately from, other Cites <br /> recovely, permitting or similar fees presented to the city council for approval. <br /> Sees. 90-.M 90.297-90.300. Reserved. <br /> SECTION 2. If any word,phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held <br /> to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this <br /> ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br /> SECTION 3. Any person or corporation found to be in violation of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Each day that the provisions of this ordinance are <br /> violated shall constitute a separate and distinct offense. <br /> SECTION 4. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in <br /> conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> SECTION 5. In codifying the changes authorized by this ordinance, non-substantive <br /> clerical and grammatical errors may be corrected and paragraphs, sections and subsections may be <br /> renumbered and reformatted, as appropriate, consistent with the numbering and formatting of the <br /> San Marcos City Code. <br /> SECTION 6. This ordinance takes effect upon passage, approval and adoption on second <br /> reading. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading on August 5, 2024. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED on second reading on August 20, 2024. <br /> &Hughson <br /> Mayor <br />
