RESOLUTION NO. 2024-15OR A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED OWNER REQUESTED ANNEXATION IN CASE NO. AN-24-07 OF APPROXIMATELY 51 ACRES OF LAND (INCLUDING ADJACENT RIGHT-OF-WAY) IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHERN SIDE OF FM-110/EAST MCCARTY LANE AND THE NORTHERN SIDE OF OLD BASTROP HIGHWAY, APPROXIMATELY 1,600 FEET WEST OF THE INTERSECTION BETWEEN OLD BASTROP HIGHWAY AND SH-123; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF SAID TRACT OF LAND;AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The attached Agreement for the Provision of Services in connection with the proposed annexation in case number AN-24-07 of approximately 51 acres of land out of the Cyrus Wickson Survey, Abstract No. 474 (including adjacent right-of-way), in Hays County, Texas, generally located on the southern side of FM-110/East McCarty Lane and the northern side of Old Bastrop Highway, approximately 1,600 feet west of the intersection between Old Bastrop Highway and SH-123, is hereby approved. PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. PART 3. The date for the public hearing concerning the proposed annexation of the land described in said agreement shall be September 17, 2024. PART 4.
