ORDINANCE NO. 2024-42 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE RATES FOR THE ELECTRIC <br /> UTILITY SERVICES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 86.177 OF THE <br /> SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL <br /> PROVISIONS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. In accordance with Section 86.177 of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances,the <br /> monthly rates charged for the electric utility services are amended in accordance with Exhibit A, <br /> which is attached hereto and incorporated for all purposes. <br /> SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict <br /> with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held <br /> to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this <br /> ordinance will continue in full force if they can be given effect without the invalid provision. <br /> SECTION 4.
