RESOLUTION NO. 202 -227R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH PET <br /> PREVENT A LITTER OF CENTRAL TEXAS ALLOWING FOR <br /> AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) FUNDS TO PROVIDE <br /> VACCINATIONS AND SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES FOR PETS OF SAN <br /> MARCOS RESIDENTS NEGATIVELY AFFECTED BY COVID-19,IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $90,000.00 OVER A TWO-YEAR TERM; AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE <br /> AGREEMENT AND ANY RELATED DOCUMENTS; AND DECLARING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached Funding Agreement with Pet Prevent a Litter of Central Texas, <br /> allowing for American Rescue Plan Act(ARPA)funds to provide vaccinations and spay and neuter <br /> services for pets of San Marcos residents negatively affected by COVID-19 in the amount of <br /> $90,000.00 over two years, is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute such agreement and <br /> any related documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
