II. AGREEMENT <br /> 2.1. City Agreements. The City agrees to: <br /> 2.1.1. Subject to each Party's advance review and written approval, execute a <br /> contract with Community Action, Inc. to procure the services of and set the terms of <br /> compensation of the Director in an amount not to exceed$100,000 for the wages or salary, <br /> and the cost of benefits for the person serving as the Director,plus an amount up to$13,000 <br /> for associated administrative fees and $30,000in program expenses that are considered <br /> Additional Services. Funding by the Core 4 in support of the program shall not exceed <br /> $143,000 annually. <br /> 2.1.2. Manage the contract with Community Action, Inc. and the day to day <br /> activities of the Director, and provide staff support to the Director for implementation of <br /> the Youth Master Plan. <br /> 2.1.3. Contribute funding toward the compensation to be paid to Community <br /> Action,Inc.under said contract for Director services with the City as follows: a) 50 percent <br /> of the wages or salary, plus the cost of benefits paid to the person serving as the Director, <br /> not to exceed$50,000 annually;and b)up to$21,500 annually for associated administrative <br /> and program expenses, contingent on the availability of funding. <br /> 2.1.4. Deliver one or more invoices to the each of the Parties for payment of each <br /> Party's share (as described in paragraph 2.1.3) of amounts owed by the City under its <br /> contract with Community Action, Inc for the services of the Director. <br /> 2.1.5. Meet with the Core 4 Policy Group at least once annually, to: a) establish <br /> the scope of work and compensation of Community Action, Inc. for the Director services <br /> to be contracted with the City; b) evaluate the performance of Community Action, Inc. <br /> under said contract; and c) set common goals, including the promotion of post-secondary <br /> educational opportunities, for the upcoming year's work. <br /> 2.1.6. Designate a representative authorized to act on the City's behalf in relation <br /> to the obligations under this Agreement. <br /> 2.2. University,SMCISD and Hays County Agreements: The University, SMCISD, <br /> Hays County agree to: <br /> 2.2.1. Each contribute funding toward the compensation to be paid to <br /> Community Action, Inc. under said contract for Director services with the City as <br /> follows: a) one-third of the remaining 50 percent of the wages or salary, plus the <br /> cost of benefits paid to the person serving as the Director, not to exceed <br /> $16,667,000 annually; and b) up to $7,167annually for associated administrative <br /> and program expenses, contingent on the availability of funding. <br /> 2.2.2. Each make such contributions by paying the City directly 15 days <br />
