RESOLUTION NO. 2024-234R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS,TEXAS REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO <br /> AN INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE <br /> DISPOSAL; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On October 3, 2024, the City of San Marcos received five (5) bids in response to <br /> an Invitation for Bids (IFB No. 224-291) for Household Hazardous Waste Disposal. <br /> 2. After bids were received, it was determined that the bids and the solicitation <br /> documents did not accurately reflect the City's required specifications. <br /> 3. Staff will prepare a revised scope and develop the required specifications. A new <br /> solicitation will be issued at a later date. City Council now finds it would be in the best interests <br /> of the City to reject all bids. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The bids received in response to IFI3 No. 224-291 for Household Hazardous <br /> Waste Disposal are rejected. <br /> PART 2.
