SOLUTION NO. 2024-247R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A FINE-YEAR GROUND LEASE <br /> AGREEMENT WITH FRAYEZUR PROPERTIES, LP TO LEASE CITY- <br /> OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 179 SOUTH LB,I DRIVE; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO <br /> EXECUTE SAID LEASE AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached Ground Lease Agreement with Frayezur Properties, LP, a <br /> Texas limited partnership (the "Lease Agreement") to lease the surface of City-owned property <br /> located approximately at 179 South LBJ Drive in the City of San Marcos, for 5 years, being on <br /> property previously owned by the Union Pacific Railroad and part of previously leased property <br /> assigned by the Railroad to the City when the City purchased 1.813 acres from the Railroad in <br /> 2013, is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is hereby authorized to sign the Lease <br /> Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
