ORDINANCE NO. 2024-61 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING CHAPTER 39 OF THE SAN MARCOS <br /> CITY CODE REGARDING FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION BY <br /> ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY MAP REVISION TO THE FLOOD <br /> INSURANCE RATE MAPS, CLARIFYING CERTAIN PROVISIONS AND <br /> MAKING REVISIONS CONSISTENT WITH SUCH ADOPTION; <br /> PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF <br /> ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 39.015 of the San Marcos City Code, Definitions, is hereby <br /> amended by revising the definition of "working flood model" as shown below. Added text is <br /> indicated by underlining. <br /> Working flood model means the model(5) most recently approved by the <br /> Federal Emergency Management Agency as updated by cjq&i 1f ,l.) ,t,�,j`-- <br /> __ .yiewed <br /> by the City of San Marcos to reflect cumulative impacts of development. <br /> SECTION 2. Section 39.021 of the San Marcos City Code is hereby amended as shown <br /> below. Added text is indicated by underlining. Deleted text is indicated by strikethroughs. <br /> Sec. 39.021.
