SOLUTION NO. 2025-55R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH FREESE AND <br /> NICHOLS, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO PERFORM A <br /> PRELIMINARY FEASIBILITY STUDY TO EVALUATE CURRENT <br /> CONDITIONS OF AND THE SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL, <br /> HISTORICAL, AND RECREATIONAL ASPECTS RELATED TO THE <br /> CAPE'S DAM COMPLEX, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED <br /> $340,000.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER <br /> DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE <br /> CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. A contract with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for professional services to perform a <br /> preliminary feasibility study to evaluate current conditions of and the safety, environmental, <br /> historical,and recreational aspects related to the Cape's Dam Complex, in an amount not to exceed <br /> $340,000.00 is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the contract on <br /> behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
