Provide dates and information about public meetings and events held to discuss the project- <br />(Urrnited to 1640 Characters) <br />The San Marcos G-eenbelt Ailiance (SMG?,) regularly discusses pathways along current ano <br />pctarlial natural areas, including the trail proposed in this application. SMGA, pror ated the trails <br />and pathway Vision map in articles to recruit far the conservation Comm :tee on June 16, 2008, for <br />the Parks Master Flan on August 19, 2408, at the SMGA annual meetings in March 2008 and <br />2049 and the vision map was reviewed at a board meeting February 2009. These meetings are <br />open to the public. <br />A public meeting of the Parks Advisory Board was held on July 21, 2009 to present the City of <br />San Marcos Trail Master Plan. The plan was re+aewed through several community meetings and <br />information for the plan was collected through these meetings and user surveys. The San Marcos <br />Gross-Town Pathway was one of the target corridors for trail improvement and was placed in the <br />short term (0-5 years) list. <br />The City Council met on December 1, 2009 to consider the resolution for submission of the <br />application and more specifically to approve the match. The resolution was considered in a <br />regular meeting which was pasted 72 hours prior to the meeting with public comments being taken <br />prior to the resolution: consideration. <br />C.
