67-68. Offices, professional and general business: A room or group of rooms used for the is <br />provision of executive, management or administrative services. Typical uses include <br />administrative offices and services including real estate, insurance, property <br />management, investment, personnel, travel, secretarial services, telephone answering, <br />and business offices of public utilities, organizations and associations, but excluding <br />medical offices. <br />63 69. Office showroom: An establishment with no more than 25 percent of its total floor area <br />devoted to storage and warehousing, but not accessible to the general public. The <br />remaining area may include retail and wholesale sales areas, sales offices, and display <br />areas for products sold and distributed from the storage and warehousing areas. <br />6-970. Office warehouse: An establishment with more than 25 percent of the total floor area <br />devoted to storage and warehousing, but not generally accessible to the public. <br />7A 71. Outside display: Outside temporary display of finished goods that are specifically <br />intended for retail sale. <br />-7472. Open/outside storage: The keeping, displaying or storing, outside a building, of any <br />goods, materials, merchandise or equipment on a lot or tract for more than 24 hours. <br />Also referred to as outside storage. <br />773. Overlay zoning district means a zoning district that establishes regulations that combine <br />with the regulations of an underlying (base) zoning district. The purposes of an overlay <br />district shall be to prohibit uses otherwise allowed in the base district, to establish <br />additional or different conditions for such uses, or to authorize special uses, together <br />with standards for such uses, not otherwise allowed in the base district. • <br />-7-3 74. Patio home (zero-lot-line dwelling): A single-family dwelling on a separately platted lot <br />which is designed such that one side yard is reduced to zero feet in order to maximize <br />the width and usability of the other side yard, and which permits the construction of a <br />detached single-family dwelling with one side of such dwelling placed on the side <br />property line. <br />74 75. Pawn shop: An establishment where money is loaned on the security of personal <br />property pledged in the keeping of the owners. The retail sale of primarily used items is <br />also allowed, provided that the sale of such items complies with local, State and Federal <br />regulations. <br />7576. PD district means planned development district (also referred to as a PDD). <br />7-677. Personal service shop or custom personal services: Establishments less than 2,000 <br /> <br />square feet in gross floor area, primarily engaged in providing services generally <br />involving the care of the person or his apparel and including, but not limited to, barber <br />and beauty shops, dressmaking, shoe shining and repair, dry-cleaning and laundry pick- <br />up stations, tailor or seamstress services, and other similar types of uses, with no <br />outside storage. <br />7778. Portable building sales (outdoor display): An establishment which displays and sells <br />structures capable of being carried and transported to another location, but not including <br />mobile homes. <br />7379. Private club: An establishment providing social or dining facilities which may provide <br />alcoholic beverage service, to an association of persons, and otherwise falling within the <br />definition of, and permitted under the provisions of, that portion of Title 3, Chapter 32,
