parks and open space areas. Land dedication for public use and maintenance shall have a <br />minimum of 150 feet of frontage on a local or collector street. Land shall not be <br />dedicated for parkland along a major thoroughfare unless the DifeEtar of Paf4Es and <br />Reefeation Director of Community Services determines that the proposed park use is <br />compatible with, and sufficiently buffered from, the adjacent thoroughfare, and that the <br />parkland can be safely accessed by pedestrians, especially children. Proposed access and <br />public availability, both physical and visual, of parkland shall be reviewed the City's <br />Parks and Recreation Director and approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />SECTION 33.
