(b) Specific Duties. The specific duties of the responsible official shall include those <br />authorized under the universal procedures applicable to all types of development <br />applications under Article 3 of this Chapter 1, those authorized under the provisions <br />governing procedures for deciding particular applications under this Chapter 1, and <br />those authorized under relief procedures under Article 10 of this Chapter 1. <br />(c) Delegation. The responsible official may delegate the official's authority under this Code <br />to subordinate officials, who shall thereupon be deemed the responsible official for <br />purposes of carrying out the delegated duties. <br /> Section 1.2.2.2 Planning Director <br /> (a) Responsible Official. The Planning Director refers to the person or persons designated <br /> by the City Manager to carry out the duties of the Planning Director as described in this <br /> Land Development Code. The Planning Director is the responsible official for the <br /> following types of development applications and relief petitions: <br /> (1) Petition for amending Master Plan; <br /> (2) Petition for a development agreement; <br /> (3) Petition for a zoning map amendment, including a petition for creation of an <br /> overlay district, Planned Development PD district, historic district or historic <br /> landmark, and Development Transfer (DT) district; <br />is (4) Petition for a development transfer; <br /> (5) Application for a Conditional Use Permit; <br /> (6) Application for a Cluster Development Plan; <br /> (7) Application for a special exception; <br /> (8) Application for change in status of a nonconformity; <br /> (9) Application for a Subdivision Concept Plat, Preliminary Subdivision Plat, <br /> Preliminary Development Plat, Final Subdivision Plat, Final Development Plat, <br /> Minor Subdivision Plat, and replat; <br /> (10) Application for a sign permit; <br /> (11) Appeal of a decision on any application for which the Director is the responsible <br /> official; <br /> (12) Variance petition for any application for which the Director is the responsible <br /> official; <br /> (13) Vested rights petition for any decision where the Director is the responsible <br /> official for the application for which the vested rights petition is filed; <br /> (14) Park fee decision; and <br /> (15) Omnibus relief petition. <br />.
