<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of minutes of a
<br />Special Meeting held September 10, 1990, Regular Meeting held
<br />September 10, 1990, Special Meeting held September 17, 1990, Special
<br />Meeting held September 18, 1990 and special Meeting held September
<br />19, 1990, approval of two Ordinances on second reading, adoption of
<br />four Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of nine
<br />Resolutions, approval of three change orders: (1) to contract with
<br />Charles willis and Associates in the amount of $8,320.00 to add one
<br />additional month of resident inspection services for Gary Job Corps
<br />Center/Land Transfer Project, (2) to Victory Gardens/Dunbar Paving
<br />and Drainage Improvements CIP Project in the amount of $21,700.00
<br />and (3) To SCADA Project, Change Order No.2, in the amount of
<br />$16,360.00, approval to authorize use of contingency Funds General
<br />Fund in the amount of $10,000.00 for Downtown Parking Improvements,
<br />and approval to close San Antonio Street from LBJ to Guadalupe from
<br />approximately 5:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m. on September 28, 1990 for the
<br />Spirit Rally on the Square for the Rattler Homecoming sponsored by
<br />San Marcos High School Parent/Teacher/Student Organization by
<br />consensus. The Council removed Item 10.D.(5) from the consensus
<br />agenda to be considered separately. Ms. Kissler moved for approval
<br />of the minutes of the Special Meeting held September 10, 1990 (Mr.
<br />Guerra abstaining), the Regular Meeting held September 10, 1990 (Mr.
<br />Guerra abstaining), the Special Meeting held September 17, 1990 (Mr.
<br />Moore abstaining), the Special Meeting held September 18, 1990 (Ms.
<br />Kissler and Mr. Guerra abstaining), and the Special Meeting held
<br />September 19, 1990, approval of the two Ordinances on second
<br />reading, adoption of the four Ordinances on third and final reding,
<br />adoption of the eight remaining Resolutions, approval of the three
<br />change orders, approval for the use of contingency funds for
<br />Downtown Parking Improvements and approval for the street closure on
<br />San Antonio by consensus, and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which
<br />passed unanimously. The captions of the Ordinances and Resolutions

<br />ORDINANCES BY THE ADDITION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS. AT
<br />CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING
<br />ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A PENALTY AND
<br />ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES
<br />BY THE ADDITION OF A PROVISION FOR FEES FOR PERSONAL HEALTH
<br />SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE SAN MARCOS - HAYS COUNTY HEALTH
<br />DEPARTMENT; ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNTS OF THESE FEES; AND
<br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 2-126 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO
<br />REQUIRE THE COMMISSION FOR WOMEN TO MEET AT LEAST NINE TIMES
<br />PER YEAR RATHER THAN MONTHLY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
<br />REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION
<br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND
<br />ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
