RESOLUTION NO. 2025-135R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING AN ADVANCED FUNDING <br /> AGREEMENT (AFA) WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORATION, RELATING TO THE WALLACE ADDITION <br /> OFFSITE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, TO PROVIDE FOR <br /> THE INSTALLATION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE BOX (RCB) <br /> STORM DRAIN SYSTEM ALONG AND ACROSS FM 621, WITHIN <br /> TXDOT RIGHT OF WAY(ROW);AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> OR HER DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS <br /> TO IMPLEMENT THE AFA ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. An advanced funding agreement with the Texas Department of <br /> Transportation (TxDOT) relating to the Wallace Addition Offsite Drainage Improvement project, <br /> to provide for the installation of reinforced concrete box (RCB) storm drain system located along <br /> and across FM 621, from approximately 0.31 miles south of SH 123 to 0.369 miles south of SH <br /> 123, is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City of San Marcos will not build this RCB storm system until <br /> TxDOT's plan approval has been obtained. <br /> PART 3. The City of San Marcos Engineering and Capital Improvement Department, <br /> and consultants,will make sure that the RCB storm system is constructed in strict accordance with <br /> the approved plans. <br /> PART 4. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute appropriate <br /> documents to implement the TxDOT Advanced Funding Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 5.
