C. The increase in water surface elevation for the 1%annual chance flood does not exceed one foot <br /> Sec. 39.Q44. Additional provisions for manufactured homes and recreational vehicles. <br /> (1) All manufactured homes to be placed within zone A shall be installed using methods and practices which <br /> minimize flood damage. For the purpose of this requirement, manufactured homes must be elevated and <br /> anchored to resist flotation, collapse or lateral movement. Methods of anchoring may include but are not <br /> limited to use of over-the-top or frame ties to ground anchors.This requirement is in addition to other <br /> applicable anchoring requirements for resisting wind forces. <br /> (3) All manufactured homes shall bein compliance with section 39.O41. <br /> (3) Manufacturedhomeothatarep|acedo/substandaUyimprovedwithinzonesAf+-£OLandAEonthe <br /> community's FIRM on sites(i)outside of a manufactured home park or subdivision, (ii) in a new <br /> manufactured home park or subdivision, (iii)in an expansion to an existing manufactured home park or <br /> subdivision, or(iv)in an existing manufactured home park or subdivision where a manufactured home has <br /> incurred substantial damage as the result of a flood,shall be elevated on a permanent foundation so that the <br /> lowest floor of the manufactured home is at or above two foot above the base flood elevation and that the <br /> home shall be securely anchored to an adequately anchored foundation system in accordance with section <br /> 39,041. <br /> (4) Manufactured homes to be placed or substantially improved on sites in an existing manufactured home park <br /> or subdivision within zones AH4D-i and AEon the community's FIRM that are not subject to subsection(3)of <br /> this section shall beelevated oLLg_p.ermanent founclation so that the lowest floor of the manufactured hor,n"e <br /> is at or above two foot above-the base flood elevation and that the home shall b-?securel 01me <br /> inaccordance <br /> with section 39.O4I. <br /> (5) All recreational vehicles placed on sites within zones A4+-AQ'and AE must either: <br /> (a) Beon the site for fewer than 180 consecutive days; <br /> (b) 8e fully licensed and ready for highway use;o/ <br /> (c) Meet the requirements for new construction, including anchoring and elevation requirements for <br /> manufactured homes in this subsection. <br /> A recreational vehicle is ready for highway use if it is on its wheels or jacking system, isattachedtotheoite <br /> only by quick disconnect type utilities and security devices, and has no permanently attached additions. <br /> (O/d.
