Cook <br />Ani Yazedjian Hensleigh <br />David Brown <br />Jim Pendergast <br />Arturo Benavides <br />Michael Occhialini <br />Rebecca Conley; arrived after roll call <br />City y taff: <br />Rick Menchaca, City Manager <br />Stephanie Reyes, Assistant to the City Manager <br />Sherry Mashburn, City Clerk <br />* Roll Call <br />With a quorum present, the Regular Meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order at 5:25 p.m. on <br />Thursday, April 9, 2009 in the San Marcos City Hall Conference Room, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas <br />78666. <br />3. Elect Chair and Vice -Chair <br />Upon a motion made to appoint Jim Pendergast as the Chair and David Brown as the Vice - Chair, the <br />Commissioners voted (6) for and none (0) opposed; with Commissioner Conley was not present during this <br />vote. <br />4. Distribute Member Roster Information Sheet. <br />Stephanie Reyes, Assistant to the City Manager, distributed the member roster to each commissioner. <br />5. Distribute Board and Commission Handbook. <br />Stephanie Reyes provided the Commissioners with a copy of the Board and Commission Handbook. <br />6. Discuss and evaluate "Sunset Review Commission Worksheet for Board and Commission Meeting <br />Reviews" <br />Me Commissioners requested a column be added for attendance to see if they are having trouble making a <br />orum and are maintaining. The Commission agreed by consensus to attend at least one of the Board and <br />Commissions they selected before June 4, 2009. And on June 4, 2009 they will provide evaluation instrument. <br />
