Call to Order <br />Present <br />Jim Pendergast, Chair <br />Rebecca Conley <br />Ani Yazedjian Hensleigh <br />Michael Occhialini <br />Not present <br />Arturo Benavides <br />Hilda Cook <br />David Brown <br />City Staff <br />Rick Menchaca, City Manager <br />Rodney Cobb, Community Services Director <br />Stephanie Reyes, Assistant to the City Manager <br />Daley Heller, City Clerk Administrate Technician <br />Upon a quorum present, the Regular Meeting of the San Marcos Sunset Advisory <br />Commission was called to order at 6:11 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 in the San Marcos <br />City Hall Conference Room, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />2. Approve minutes from the July 17, 2009 meeting <br />Upon a motion made by Chairman Pendergast and seconded by Commissioner Occhialini, <br />the Sunset Advisory Commission voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to accept the <br />minutes as amended. The motion carried unanimously. <br />3. Discuss Board/ Commission meetings each person has attended <br />The Commission provided updated information on the different meetings they attended. The <br />Commission provided direction in regards to which Boards and Commissions they need to <br />have additional discussions on. The Commission discussed meeting with Rodney Cobb, as <br />well as a discussion on ideas for combining, simplifying or possibly dissolving certain boards <br />and commissions. <br />
