• RESOLUTION 2009 -175R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO PARCELS <br />OF LAND FOR RIGHT -OF -WAY TOTALING 0.360 ACRES, MORE OR <br />LESS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE CRADDOCK ROAD EXTENSION <br />THAT IS PART OF THE WONDER WORLD DRIVE EXTENSION <br />PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL <br />NECESSARY DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PURCHASE; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. In connection with the Wonder World Drive Extension project the City is extending <br />Craddock Street, the only exit off the Wonder World Drive Extension. This right of way <br />purchase will obtain a major portion of the land necessary for the extension. The land <br />lies at the intersection of Craddock and Wonder World Drive. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The following purchase of right -of -way in connection with the Wonder <br />World Drive Extension Project is hereby approved: <br />• A. Parcel Number 5, being 0.191 acres, more or less out of the T.J. <br />Chambers League, Abstract No. 2 , owned by C & G Development, LTD, as more <br />particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A;" <br />B. Parcel Number 4, being 0.169 acres, more or less, out of the T.J. <br />Chambers League, Abstract No. 2, owned by C & G Development, LTD, as more <br />particularly described on the attached Exhibit "B." <br />the parcels being purchased for the total price not to exceed $ $109,000.00, including <br />all closing costs. <br />Part 2. The City Manager, Rick Menchaca, is authorized to execute all <br />necessary documents in connection with the right -of -way purchase described above on <br />behalf of the City. <br />• <br />
