RESOLUTION NO. 2025-173R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CHANGE IN SERVICE TO THE <br /> CONTRACT WITH FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. FOR ENGINEERING <br /> SERVICES TO REVIEW, UPDATE, AND RECERTIFY THE CITY'S <br /> DRINKING WATER SYSTEM'S RISK AND RESILIENCY ASSESSMENT <br /> AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br /> AMERICAN WATER INFRASTRUCTURE ACT, INCREASING THE <br /> CONTRACT AMOUNT BY $78,300.00 FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT <br /> AMOUNT OF $143,739.21; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR <br /> HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE CHANGE IN SERVICE ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. A Change in Service to the contract with Freese and Nichols,Inc. (Contract No. <br /> 222-003) for engineering services to review, update, and recertify the City's drinking water <br /> system's Risk and Resiliency Assessment and Emergency Response Plan in compliance with the <br /> American Water Infrastructure Act, to increase the contract amount by $78,300.00 for a total <br /> contract amount of$143,739.21 is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the change in <br /> service on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
