Rio Salado Parkway #109 <br />San Marcos, Texas 78666 Tempe, Arizona 85281 <br />Fax: 512-396-4656 Fax: 480-970-6019 <br />ARTICLE 13 <br />BASIS OF COMPENSATION <br />13.1 The City will compensate the Consultant, in accordance with Article 4, Payments to the <br />Consultant, and the other terms and conditions of this Agreement, as follows: <br />13.2 The total of all fees and expenses to be paid to Consultant for Basic Services as described <br />in Sections 1.1 through 1.3 will not exceed $56,500.00. This compensation is divided among the <br />Basic Services as follows: <br />Invoice No. 1 $ 5,650.00 <br />Project planning and briefing meetings; PAQ distribution and explanation; <br />development of external market model of comparator agencies for review <br />and approval; solicitation of market data and survey participation from <br />survey agencies. <br />Invoice No. 2 $19,775.00 <br />PAQ review and analysis; development of position classification (job title) <br />Recommendations; collection and data extraction of external market data from <br />Comparator agencies; creation of schematic or occupational job classifications, <br />Transaction register of current to recommended job titles. <br />Invoice No. 3 $19,775.00 <br />Calculation of prevailing rates and benefits from collected market data; <br />job analysis or evaluation based on point factor and/or market prevailing rates; <br />development of job descriptions based on PAQ's and classification <br />recommendations; review of draft classification and compensation plans <br />with City staff. <br />Invoice No. 4 $11,300.00 <br />Finalization of classification and compensation plan recommendations; fiscal <br />impact estimates of alternative implementation approaches; completion of job <br />descriptions (Estimated to be 190 @ $85.00 each); preparation and presentation <br />]0 <br />
