RESOLUTION NO.2025-225R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS ALLOCATING TO NON-PROFIT AGENCIES HUMAN <br />SERVICES GRANT FUNDING OF $750,000.00 FROM THE CITY'S <br />GENERAL FUND AND ADDITIONAL FUNDING FROM THE <br />AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA); AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL <br />REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY IN MATTERS RELATED TO SAID <br />GRANT FUNDS, INCLUDING AUTHORIZATION TO EXECUTE <br />FUNDING CONTRACTS WITH SELECTED AGENCIES ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City approves Human Services Grant funding of $750,000.00 from the <br />City's General Fund and additional American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and allocates such funds <br />to the agencies listed for the amounts and the purposes described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to act as the official <br />representative of the City in matters related to the allocation of said funds and may enter into <br />funding contracts with the non-profit agencies listed in Exhibit A, consistent with the purposes of <br />this resolution. <br />PART 3.
