RESOLUTION NO.2026-16R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH <br />HAYS COUNTY PROVIDING FOR THE COUNTY TO DISBURSE A 2024 <br />BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE AWARD TO THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $25,500.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER <br />DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Interlocal Agreement with Hays County, attached hereto, providing for <br />the county to disburse a 2024 Byrne Memorial Justice Award to the city in the amount of <br />$25,500.00, is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the Interlocal <br />Agreement on behalf of the city. <br />PART 3.
