<br />Annexation <br />Service Plan <br /> <br />Holt Tract Remainder <br />(AN-2003-02) <br /> <br />5. Operation and Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Facilities <br />There is currently no water or wastewater service provided to this tract. The annexation <br />area is within the service area of the Maxwell Water Supply Corporation. No water <br />service will be provided to this area by the City of San Marcos Water/Wastewater Utility. <br />As new development occurs within the annexed area, the developers of the property will <br />be required to provide water and wastewater facilities in accordance with the City's <br />existing policies. With City Council approval for wastewater service, the City will <br />provide on-going operation and maintenance of wastewater facilities upon their <br />completion and dedication to the city. <br /> <br />6. Operation and Maintenance of Roads and Streets <br />There are no existing roads within the annexation area. As new development occurs <br />within the annexed area, the developers of property will be required to construct streets in <br />accordance with the city's existing subdivision policies. Upon completion and dedication <br />of new facilities to the city, the city shall provide on-going operation and maintenance for <br />those facilities. <br /> <br />7. Electric Service <br />The annexation area is located in the service area of the Pedernales Electric Cooperative. <br />No electric service will be provided to this area by the San Marcos Electric Utility. <br /> <br />8. Operation and Maintenance of Parks. Plaverounds. and/or Swimming Pools <br />No parks, playgrounds and/or swimming pools exist within the proposed annexation area. <br />The same standards and policies now established and in force within the city limits will <br />be followed in maintaining and expanding recreational facilities to serve the mmexed <br />area. Upon annexation, the owners and residents of property located within the annexed <br />area shall be entitled to the use of all municipal parks and recreational facilities, subject <br />to the same restrictions, fees and availability that pertains to the use of those facilities by <br />other citizens of the city. <br /> <br />9. Operation and Maintenance of Other Public Facilities. Buildines and Services <br />No other public facilities, buildings or services exist within the annexed area. The same <br />standards and policies now established and in force within the city limits will be followed <br />in maintaining and expanding other public facilities, building and services. Upon <br />annexation, the owners and residents of property located within the annexed area shall be <br />entitled to tlle use of all municipal facilities, buildings and services, subject to the same <br />restrictions, fees and availability that pertains to the use of those facilities and services by <br />other citizens ofthe city. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 3 of <br />EXHIBIT B <br /> <br />June 6, 2003 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
