Ms. Narvaiz <br />moved for adoption òf the Resolution and Mr. Taylor seconded the mot~on. <br />Mr. Diaz stated he feels this is money well spent. Mr. Thomaides thanked <br />the Police Department for all they do for San Marcos. Mr. Taylor inquired <br />whether there is a guarantee the City will receive this grant. Mr. James <br />stated even though the City has received this grant for the past four <br />years, there is no guarantee the City will receive this grant again. He <br />stated the Police Department has to apply for it every year. The Council <br />then voted unanimously for adoption of the Resolution. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced a discussion regarding the request of Daris <br />Hale for the City Council to provide a letter stating San Marcos is a film <br />friendly community.
