THE DAILY RECORD, San Marcos, TX., Friday, Aprll 18, 2008 - PAGE 5B <br />Skips & Trades ff-slidils & Trades UPI$ L;;$ <br />I <br />Public Notices Pubpc Notices <br />I PUBLIC NOTICE <br />The City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May <br />6, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at <br />City Hall, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas, to <br />accept citizen comments on the Community De- <br />velopment Block Grant (CDBG) 2008 Action Plan <br />allocations. <br />The City has been awarded $514,869 in CDBG <br />grant funds for 2008, which will become available <br />on October 1 st. These funds will be used to sup- <br />port programs and projects that address an identi- <br />fied priority need and that primarily benefit low-to- <br />moderate income families in San Marcos.. <br />I <br />All area residents are encouraged to attend the <br />public hearing and to provide their comments on <br />the Action Plan allocations. <br />The City of San Marcos does not discriminate on <br />the basis of disability in the admission or access to <br />its services, programs, or activities. Individuals <br />who require auxiliary aids and services for this <br />meeting should contact the City of San Marcos <br />ADA Coordinator at 805-2645 (voice) or 393-8229 <br />(TDD), or call Relay Texas at 7-1-1.
