Special Meeting September 29, 2003 Page 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY AND TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY-SAN MARCOS REGARDING THE GREENHOUSE INTERPRETIVE CENTER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE MEMORANDUM ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Ms. Narvaiz moved to table this until the next Regular Meeting scheduled for October 13, 2003, and Mr. Thomaides seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Narvaiz, Thomaides, Taylor and Diaz. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Habingreither and Mihalkanin (disclosure affidavits-business entity filed with City Clerk). Mayor Habingreither introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss the purchase of real property (Wonder World Drive Area); and Section 551.074, to discuss the duties of a public officer (City Manger). Ms. Narvaiz moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session at 6:50 p.m. and Mr. Thomaides seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Mihalkanin moved the Council reconvene at 8:16 p.m. and Ms. Narvaiz seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
