<br />6. The Chamber shall pay all bills for utility services supplied to the Tourist Center. <br />4. CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU BOARD <br /> <br />A. The City's Convention and Visitors Bureau Board (the "CVB Board") will provide <br />oversight for the Chamber's perfonnance under this Contract. <br /> <br />B. The CVB Board shall be responsible for approving the budget for this Contract. The <br />budget shall contain an itemization of proposed expenditures for office space, personnel, equipment, <br />supplies, vehicles, and other expenses to be incurred by the Chamber in performing this Contract. <br /> <br />C. CVB Funds allocated to the Chanlber from this Contract shall be expended with the <br />advice and consent of the CVB Board, and not witll the advice and consent of the Chamber's Board <br /> <br />of Directors. <br /> <br />D. Purchases made with CVB Funds which exceed $1000 in amount shall be made from the <br />low responsible bidder, and at least three bids shall be obtained for each such purchase. Purchases <br />made with CVB Funds shall not be restricted to Chamber members. <br /> <br />E. The Chamber shall obtain the advice and counsel of the CVB Board as to the hiring and <br />ruing of management-level Chamber employees responsible for activities under this Contract. The <br /> <br />Chamber President has day-to-day management responsibilities for Chamber employees involved <br />in activities under tIns Agreement. <br /> <br />G. The CVB Board and the Chamber shall each designate two officers authorized to co-sign <br />checks written on all accounts for CVB Funds. The signature of at least one official of each <br /> <br />organization is required on all checks over $250 in anlount written on accounts for CVB Funds. <br />Checks in the amount of $250 or less written on these accounts require only one official signature. <br /> <br />H. The CVB Board and the Chamber shall give advance public notice of meetings of the <br />CVB Board, and shall allow members of the public to attend these meetings. The CVB Board is <br />subject to State laws and City ordinances which apply generally to City boards and commissions, <br /> <br />including those requiring disclosure of conflicts of interest and abstention from participation in <br />decisions involving conflicts of interest. The Chamber shall provide a copy of the minutes of each <br /> <br />CVB Board meeting to the City. <br /> <br />5. TERM; TERMINATION <br />A. The term ofthis Contract shall be from October 1,2003 through September 30, 2004. <br /> <br />It is expressly agreed that either party may cancel this Contract by tendering written notice to the <br /> <br />3 <br />
