1.6.21 Ensure that all notices and signs required and provided by the City are posted in the <br />appropriate locations at the Project site by the Contractor. <br />1.6.22 Conduct final inspection with the City and prepare a punch list prior to final acceptance <br />by the City. <br />1.6.23 Prior to the end of the one year warranty period, review the completed Project with the <br />City and the Contractor and have all deficient items corrected. The extent of the duties, <br />responsibilities and limitations of authority of the Consultant as the City's representative during <br />construction will not be modified or extended after the construction contract documents have <br />been authorized by the City to be competitively bid without written consent of the City and the <br />Consultant and with notice to the Contractor. <br />1.7 ADDITIONAL SERVICES/CHANGE IN SERVICES <br />1.7.1 Since the Consultant's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including or <br />deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Consultant for <br />Additional Services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described <br />in this Agreement. The Consultant will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain <br />the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. The following are specifically <br />considered to be additional services; <br />a) Construction phase surveying services; <br />b) Floodplain notes based on anything other than the current flood insurance rate <br />maps prepared F.E.M.A. or City approved drainage study; <br />c) Preparation of a floodplain study and conducting research to determine if one is <br />necessary or has been performed, or detailed drainage studies to analyze <br />conveyance of off -site runoff involving HEC -1, HEC -2 or other similar <br />hydrologic or hydraulic analyses including survey cross sections, field notes and <br />easements; <br />d) Structural design of retaining walls, storm water splitter boxes or detention ponds, <br />bridges, culverts and similar structures; <br />e) Environmental assessments, wetlands, endangered species, and KARST feature <br />investigations; <br />f] Provision of a wet utility design and a water service plan; and <br />g) Provision of a water Pollution Abatement Plan <br />1.7.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by Consultant <br />must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment B. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 15.2 of this Agreement. The approval of <br />the City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which <br />exceeds $50,000.00. <br />Land Design- Tennis Courts Agreement <br />8 <br />
