RESOLUTION NO.2026-30R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED OWNER REQUESTED ANNEXATION IN CASE NO. AN-25-07 OF APPROXIMATELY 11.548 ACRES OF LAND, LOCATED AT 1710 STATE HIGHWAY 21, BEING ON THE SOUTHSIDE OF STATE HIGHWAY 21, APPROXIMATELY 900 FEET NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION WITH STATE HIGHWAY 80, IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF SAID TRACT OF LAND; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The attached Agreement for the Provision of Services in connection with the proposed annexation in Case No. AN-25-07 of approximately 11.548 acres of land out of the Thomas G. McGehee Survey A-11, in Hays County, Texas, generally located on the southside of Highway 21, approximately 900 feet north of the intersection between Highway 21 and Highway 80 is hereby approved. PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. PART 3. The date for the public hearings concerning the proposed annexation of the land described in said agreement shall be March 31, 2026. PART 4.
