RESOLUTION NO. 2026-42R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE <br /> PROVISION OF SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED <br /> ANNEXATION IN CASE NO. AN-26-02 OF APPROXIMATELY 38.45 <br /> ACRES OF CITY-OWNED LAND, GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF <br /> THE BLANCO RIVER AND WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF POST <br /> ROAD AND OLD STAGECOACH ROAD, IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, <br /> KNOWN AS FILE MILE DAM PARK; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER,OR HER DESIGNEE,TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY; SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF SAID TRACT OF <br /> LAND; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached Agreement for the Provision of Services in connection with <br /> the proposed annexation in Case No. AN-26-02 of approximately 38.45 acres of city-owned land, <br /> generally located north of the Blanco River and west of the intersection of Post Road and Old <br /> Stagecoach Road, in Hays County, Texas, known as Five Mile Dam Park, is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute said agreement <br /> on behalf of the city. <br /> PART 3. The date for the public hearings concerning the proposed annexation of the <br /> land described in said agreement shall be April 21, 2026. <br /> PART 4.
