RESOLUTION NO. 2026-46R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A BUDGET POLICY STATEMENT <br /> FOR PREPARATION OF THE 2026-2027 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET; <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. Section 8.02(b) of the San Marcos City Charter requires the City Council to <br /> formulate a policy statement to be used by the City Manager as direction during the preparation of <br /> the proposed budget. <br /> 2. The City Council conducted a public hearing regarding the formulation of the <br /> Budget Policy Statement at its regular meeting on this date of adoption. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS,TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The Budget Policy Statement attached to this Resolution is hereby approved <br /> and the City Manager shall use this statement to direct the preparation of the proposed budget for <br /> the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year. <br /> PART 4.
