RESOLUTION NO. 2026-12R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A FACILITY LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> WITH COMMUNITY ACTION, INC. OF CENTRAL TEXAS, A 501(C)(3) <br /> NONPROFIT, BY WHICH THE CITY LEASES THE SAN MARCOS <br /> SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER,LOCATED AT 810 ARIZONA STREET,TO <br /> COMMUNITY ACTION, INC. OF CENTRAL, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE SAID <br /> NONPROFIT FACILITY LEASE AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached Facility Lease Agreement with Community Action, Inc. of <br /> Central Texas (the "Lease Agreement"), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, by which the City leases the San <br /> Marcos Senior Citizens Center to Community Action, Inc. of Central Texas is hereby approved. <br /> The Agreement runs for ten years and may be renewed by mutual agreement of the parties. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is hereby authorized to execute the <br /> Facility Lease Agreement on behalf of the city. <br /> PART 3.
