Drive <br />Austin, Texas 78758 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Brady: <br /> <br />This letter shall serve as the agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas and you for the <br />provision of inspection services. <br /> <br />A. GOAL AND ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />You agree to use your best efforts to accomplish the following goal, through the following <br />activities, on behalf of the City: <br /> <br />GOAL: To insure compliance with the construction contract documents on the IH- <br />35 Fairlawn Lift Station and Main Lift Station Rehabilitation CIP projects. <br /> <br />ACTIVITIES: <br /> <br />1.1 <br /> <br />Provide construction inspection for compliance with contract documents. <br />Coordinate with Engineer, Contractor, testing services, and City staff. <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br />Review submittals, payment applications, O&M Manuals and "As Built" <br />drawings for accuracy. <br /> <br />1.3 <br /> <br />Provide construction photographs and maintain diary of construction activities. <br /> <br />1.4 <br /> <br />Schedule and attend meetings with the City, contractor and others. <br /> <br />1.5 <br /> <br />Provide guidance to City Inspector Technicians on inspection of large lift station <br />construction. <br /> <br />B. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />1. You will report and be directly responsible to the City's Director of Environment and <br />Engineering (the "Director"). <br /> <br />2.
