<br />51 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-32R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, N1ENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 199.62 <br />ACRES LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF F.M. 621, ADJACENT <br />TO THE STATE FISH HATCHERY FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br />AND PERMANENT OPEN SPACE/FLOOD PLAIN TO COMMERCIAL, <br />MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND PERMANENT OPEN SPACE/FLOOD <br />PLAIN; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 20, 1986, the Join t Plann ing and <br />Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public <br />hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) <br />of the Master Plan from Low Density Residential and Flood <br />Plain/permanent Open Sapce/Flood Plain to Commercial, Medium Density <br />Residential and Permanent Open Space/Flood Plain for 199.62 acres <br />located on the northeast side of F.M. 621, adjacent to the State Fish <br />Hatchery, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Commissions did, on May 20,1986, consider said request and <br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />of March, 1987, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Master <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That 199.62 acres of land more particularly described <br />in Exhihit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />purposes, located on the northeast side of F.M. 621 adjacent to the <br />State Fish Hatchery, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an <br />area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of <br />the City of San Marcos as Low Density Residential and Permanent Open <br />Space/Flood Plain shall be shown on said map as Commercial, Medium <br />Density Residential and Permanent Open Space/Flood Plain as more <br />particularly described in Exhibit "B" which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein for all purposes. <br /> <br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />March <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: .
