<br />SUMMARY OF INSURANCE PROTECTION <br />PROVIDED BY <br />THE ACADEMY OF MODEL AERONAUTICS <br /> <br />The Academy of Model Aeronautics, Incorporated, assumes the liability for the following <br />persons or organizations, as may be imposed by law, for bodily injury and property damage <br />caused by accidents arising out of the activities described subject to the insurance policy limits <br />of $1,000,000 (one million dollars). Tn is $1,000,000 policy has a policy period aggregate limit <br />of liability which applies individually and collectively to all insureds, provided only for accidents <br />arising from the operation of any model aircraft, rockets, cars, and boats in accordance with the <br />Official Safety Code(s) of the Academy of Model Aeronautics and National Association of <br />Rocketry, <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />For each member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. <br /> <br />2. For each chartered club, chapter, and/or sanctioned event of the Academy <br />of Model Aeronautics for liability from accidents arising out of any official <br />club, chapter, and/or sanctioned event activities. <br /> <br />In case of property damage, the protection provided by the Academy of Model Aero- <br />nautics does nQt apply to the first $50, nor to property damage to any model caused by one <br />insured member to another. For bodily injury, there is no deductible provision. <br /> <br />The Academy's liability assumption shall not apply to claims for which there is valid and <br />collectable liability insurance available, except if such claims are in excess of suCh other insur- <br />ance protection, Also, coverage does not apply to claims arising from the use of private or <br />commercial aircraft, automobiles or other motor vehicles, or watercraft which transport people <br />as operators or passengers in conjunction with official club, chapter, and/or sanctioned event <br />activities. <br /> <br />NOTE <br /> <br />1. The liability protection may also be provided to each sponsor, site owner or other <br />person named on a separate certificate attached, for accidents arising out of chartered club, <br />chapter, and/or sanctioned event activities. Coverage is primary for flying site owners. <br /> <br />2. THIS SUMMARY IS GENERAL IN NATURE. THE EXACT AND SPECIFIC <br />DETAILS OF LIABILITY PROTECTION AND ITS EXCLUSIONS ARE CONTAINED IN A <br />MASTER INSURANCE POLICY ON FILE AT AMA HEADQUARTERS. <br /> <br />REV:4/6/87 CPM 55 <br />
