<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH
<br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS,
<br />STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY
<br />ZONING .236 ACRES MORE OR LESS IN THE J.M. VERAMENDI
<br />LEAGUE NO.2, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY,
<br />TEXAS; A/K/A 2203 POST ROAD FROM "W' (SINGLE, FAMILY,
<br />DUPLEX NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO "MR" (MOBI LE
<br />HOME AND RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on February 3,1987, the Zoning Commission
<br />of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a
<br />change the zoning from "M" (Single Family, Duplex,
<br />Business District) to "MR" (Mobile Home and Residential
<br />.236 acres more or less in the J.M. Veramendi League No.
<br />City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commission did, on February 3,1987, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the same and has recommended that such request be
<br />approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the
<br />May, 1987, regarding such request; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

<br />
<br />MARCOS,
<br />
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently
<br />zoned "M" (Single Family, Duplex, Neighborhood Business District) be
<br />rezoned "MR" (Mobile Home and Residential District):
<br />
<br />Field notes describing .236 acres in the J.M. Veramendi League
<br />No.2, said .236 acres being more particularly described as
<br />follows:
<br />
<br />Beginning at an iron pin set in the Northwest line of the Old
<br />Austin/San Antonio Post Road (also known as the Old Austin/San
<br />Marcos Road, and the San Marcos to Kyle Road), said iron pin
<br />being the South corner of Lot 1, of the B.J. Collier Subdivision
<br />to the City of San Marcos, as recorded in Volume 108, Page 34,
<br />of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, and is the East
<br />corner of the herein described parcel and the beginning point
<br />of this description;
<br />
<br />Thence, N 52 degrees -30'W, along the Southwest line of the
<br />aforementioned Lot 1, a distance of 160.0' to an iron pin, said
<br />iron pin being the West corner of the aforementioned Lot 1, and
<br />is the North corner of the herein described parcel;
<br />
<br />Thence, S 47 degrees -06'W, a distance of 61.0' to an iron pin,
<br />said iron pin being the West corner of the herein described
<br />parcel;
<br />
<br />Thence, S 49 degrees -45'E, a distance of 160.0' to an iron pin
<br />set in the Northwest line of the aforementioned Old
<br />Austin/San Antonio Post Road, said iron pin being the South
<br />corner of the herein described parcel;
<br />
<br />Thence, N 46 degrees -10' E, along the Northwest line of the Old
<br />Austin/San Antonio Post Road, a distance of 68.6' to an iron
<br />pin, said iron pin being the beginning point of this
<br />description.
