<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1987-67 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH <br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, <br />STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY <br />ZONING LOT 1, SB & K JOINT VENTURE SUBDIVISION AS <br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 4, PAGE 138 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT <br />RECORDS; LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF UHLAND ROAD <br />FROM "MF-3" (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT-HIGH DENSITY) TO <br />"LI" (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 17,1987, the Zoning Commission of the City <br />of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to <br />change the zoning from "MF-3" (Multi-Family District-High Density <br />to "LI" (Light Industrial District) of Lot 1, SB &K Joint Venture <br />Subdivision to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Commission did, on February 17,1987, consider said request and <br />voted to approve the same and has recommended that such request be <br />approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />May, 1987, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning <br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos <br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />[\1ARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently <br />zoned "MF-3" (Multi-family District-High Density) be rezoned "LI" <br />(Light Industrial District): <br /> <br />LOT 1, SB & K JOINT VENTURE SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED <br />VOLUME 4, PAGE 138 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS. <br /> <br />IN <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days <br />from and after its passage and after it has been subject to <br />reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following <br />its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider <br />it. If reconsidered on May 27, 1987 it shall be in effect ten <br />days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not <br />go into effect if denied.
